Dr. Ushana is an educational psychologist who has taught in three different countries.  She acted in the capacity as Producer for the Arts in Education Summer Program in San Francisco, CA where she created multi-media presentations for thousands of school children, using accelerated learning technologies through art and music.
She graduated from The Institute for Children’s Literature and is a published author. She is author/illustrator of four interactive Journals and three children’s books. “Glitter Eye, the Adventures of a Water Drop”, her first children’s book, won the American Pen Women’ s Award. She is the recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. Her books aim to uplift and enlarge the reader’s perceptions of our world.
Ushana loves to read, dance, explore nature, travel and spend time with family and friends. She lives on the beautiful West Coast.
